We are currently recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful workshop in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to join a professional team, work with modern equipment, and benefit from industry-leading training and strong earning potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance work to the highest standards while contributing to workshop productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work where appropriate.
  • Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems effectively.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
  • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
  • Support workshop efficiency and maintain high levels of workmanship.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
  • MOT Licence advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
