We’re working with a busy and well-established dealership in Basingstoke that’s looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Controller. This is a key role within the aftersales team, focused on driving workshop efficiency, maximising productivity, and maintaining high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop
  • Allocate work effectively based on technician skill set and workload
  • Monitor productivity and ensure KPIs and targets are achieved
  • Support, motivate, and manage the workshop team
  • Liaise with Service Advisors to ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
  • Maintain health & safety compliance within the workshop

About You

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician stepping up
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of workshop operations
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
  • Leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
