We’re working with a busy and well-established dealership in Basingstoke that’s looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Controller. This is a key role within the aftersales team, focused on driving workshop efficiency, maximising productivity, and maintaining high standards of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Allocate work effectively based on technician skill set and workload
- Monitor productivity and ensure KPIs and targets are achieved
- Support, motivate, and manage the workshop team
- Liaise with Service Advisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Maintain health & safety compliance within the workshop
About You
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician stepping up
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of workshop operations
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
- Leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
