An established automotive retailer is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join its busy workshop team in Dorchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Technician to work within a modern dealership environment, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repair work and vehicle inspections to manufacturer standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a range of vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical resources.

  • Accurately record all work carried out using dealership systems.

  • Follow warranty processes and manufacturer compliance guidelines.
  • Support workshop efficiency and contribute to team performance targets.
  • Engage in ongoing technical training and development.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a franchised dealership or reputable independent workshop.
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • MOT Tester qualification.
