We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and wants to maximise their earnings through a strong bonus structure.

Working within a modern workshop, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of vehicles while maintaining manufacturer and DVSA standards. Typical technician duties include vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and road testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete vehicle health checks and inspections
  • Perform warranty and recall work as required
  • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
  • Road test vehicles where necessary

Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Diagnostic Technician
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
