We are recruiting for an experienced and results-driven Used Car Sales Manager to join a high-performing dealership in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven automotive sales leader to take ownership of a successful used car operation, driving sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team, managing stock effectively, and ensuring the department consistently achieves and exceeds targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the used car sales team to achieve sales objectives.
- Drive vehicle sales, finance penetration, and departmental profitability.
- Manage stock levels, pricing strategy, and vehicle preparation processes.
- Monitor team performance through regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and company processes.
- Analyse sales performance and implement strategies to maximise results.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve business goals and growth targets.
- Oversee deal management and support the team in closing opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Used Car Sales Manager, Transaction Manager, Business Manager, or Sales Manager within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of delivering strong sales and profit performance.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and stock management experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
