An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aftersales Manager to join a busy and successful dealership in Banbury. This role is responsible for leading the Service, Parts, and Workshop operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while driving profitability and team performance. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with a proven background in automotive aftersales management, capable of motivating teams, improving processes, and delivering outstanding operational results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Service and Parts departments
- Drive departmental profitability, productivity, and efficiency
- Manage and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Workshop Control, and Parts teams
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer service and CSI performance
- Monitor KPIs including labour sales, utilisation, efficiency, and parts performance
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer and company standards
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively
- Support recruitment, training, and ongoing development of the aftersales team
- Implement strategies to improve retention, upsell opportunities, and overall performance
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Aftersales Manager or Senior Service Manager within the motor trade
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Commercially aware with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Excellent customer handling and problem-solving ability
- Organised, driven, and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence required
