The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Workshop Controller to join a busy and well-established dealership in Yeovil.
This is a key position responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the workshop, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
You’ll act as the link between the workshop and front-of-house, driving performance while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Allocate work efficiently to Technicians to maximise productivity
- Monitor workshop loading and ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Support and motivate the workshop team to achieve targets
- Liaise with Service Advisors on work progress and updates
- Maintain health & safety standards across the workshop
- Assist with quality control and final checks where required
About You
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician ready to step up
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a busy workshop environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Good technical knowledge across a range of vehicles
- Full UK driving licence
