You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and diagnosing vehicles, while working efficiently and maintaining manufacturer standards.

THE ROLE

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete vehicle health checks
  • Identify additional work where appropriate
  • Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
  • Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information
  • Complete accurate job cards and workshop documentation
  • Work towards workshop productivity and efficiency targets
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic role
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

It would be great if you also have:

  • Main dealership experience
  • Manufacturer training or accreditation
  • MOT Tester qualification
  • Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • Experience working to workshop productivity targets
