The Governing Body wishes to appoint a 0.7 FTE teacher to join the small, dedicated team at our school. This is a fixed-term position until 31 August 2026.
The successful candidate will meet the criteria of the job description and in addition:
- Be an effective Early Years/Foundation Phase practitioner with a good understanding of the development of childrens learning and progression.
- Have an understanding of teaching mixed age classes.
- Have effective classroom management strategies to implement the schools Positive Behaviour Policy.
- Have an understanding of Emotion Coaching and Attachment principles i.e. being kind, caring and patient (or be willing to learn).
- The ability to work as part of a small team.
- Be able to teach Welsh as a second language to a good standard.
- Have an understanding of Christian values linked to a Church School
Closing date: 12 June 2025 Shortlisting will be done on 16 June.
The Governing Body will contact identified candidates to attend school on 23 June for lesson observations, tasks and interview.
