Salary: £23.63

Responsible for managing and delivering Vehicle MOT Testing on fleet vehicles, taxi vehicles and private vehicles. Also assist with vehicle servicing and repairs.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • To deliver Vehicle MOT Testing.
  • Maintain records for all MOTs undertaken.
  • Responsible for maintaining the MOT bay and station.
  • Responsible for the Council’s ATF.
  • Undertake vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Must hold a current driver's licence.
  • Qualified to a City and Guilds Standard or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified vehicle fitter.
  • Qualified MOT tester Class 4, 5 and 7.
  • Will need to work well within a team, as well as on own initiative.
