Responsible for managing and delivering Vehicle MOT Testing on fleet vehicles, taxi vehicles and private vehicles. Also assist with vehicle servicing and repairs.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- To deliver Vehicle MOT Testing.
- Maintain records for all MOTs undertaken.
- Responsible for maintaining the MOT bay and station.
- Responsible for the Council’s ATF.
- Undertake vehicle servicing and repairs.
- To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Must hold a current driver's licence.
- Qualified to a City and Guilds Standard or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified vehicle fitter.
- Qualified MOT tester Class 4, 5 and 7.
- Will need to work well within a team, as well as on own initiative.
