These roles offer a unique opportunity to contribute to consumer protection, investigate complaints, conduct inspections, and enforce trading standards legislation across Pembrokeshire. Youll help tackle scams, doorstep crime, and for fully qualified Trading Standards Officers ensure compliance with weights and measures regulations.

Qualifications

  • Trading Standards Officer: CTSI Trading Standards Practitioner Diploma, DTS, DCATS (including Metrology), or equivalent.
  • Fair Trading Inspector: FCATS, DCATS, DCA, or equivalent.
  • Trainee Fair Trading Inspector: A-levels or HNC/HND in a relevant subject and commitment to professional development, following the Trading Standards Qualification Framework.
