Hi, I am Dr Bethany Beddoes, one of the GP Partners here at Pembroke Medical Group, and I am excited to share that we are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic salaried GP to join our team. We would love to welcome someone who enjoys a warm, supportive, upbeat environment. We are based in the stunning South Devon area - think unspoilt coastline, rolling countryside, Dartmoor National Park and plenty of lovely towns and villages to explore. If you have children, there's also a great choice of schools, including three grammar schools if your children are older.
About Us:
We look after more than 25,000 patients across our main site in Paignton and our branch site in Torquay. Our team is big, busy, and genuinely a pleasure to work with: 22 GPs, ANPs, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Social Prescribers and a brilliant nursing, reception, and admin crew who keep everything running smoothly. One thing we are especially proud of is how well we support new GPs. Whether you are newly qualified or just new to us, you will never be left feeling stuck - our Duty Doctor each day has no booked patients and is there purely to help with queries and provide backup in our acute hub. We also have all face to face as 15-minute appointments and contacts are capped at 25 a day. We are an EMIS Web practice and run a hybrid system of acute, on-the-day triage alongside planned, pre-booked appointments. There are also great opportunities for portfolio working, including roles within the local Integrated Care Team and other evolving PCN projects. We really do enjoy working together - daily coffee catchups and practice-funded socials are part of the culture. It is a genuinely friendly place to land.
What We Offer:
