The Role

As a Senior Consultant you will have the opportunity to use your commercial awareness and professional expertise, along with leveraging the skills and expertise of others, to deliver the best possible experience and outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key team member working on insolvency, restructuring and liquidation engagements on a day-to-day basis
  • Applying knowledge of relevant insolvency legislation to support case strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating on cross-border matters across our International Financial Centers (IFC) network which include Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, CARICOM, Hong Kong and The Channel Islands
  • Providing day-to-day support to Senior Management
  • Producing high quality client deliverables within planned timescales
  • Supporting Senior Management in creating an inclusive environment
  • Assisting in the running of business development and other marketing initiatives
  • Assisting in preparing research documents, proposals and client delivery documents
  • Building client relationship skills, technical expertise and sector knowledge
  • Understanding the market, topical issues and our restructuring propositions

Key Skills & Experience

  • Qualified with a recognized professional accounting designation (i.e. ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) or insolvency qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a professional services firm (preferably an insolvency or public accounting firm)
  • Acts with discretion, integrity and professionalism at all times and is a key source of support for more senior individuals
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills across all levels of people
  • Shows initiative and proactively takes on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks
  • Positive outlook, seen as committed and enthusiastic
  • Manages and prioritises workload effectively
