Management Consulting, Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant,you’llbean accomplished and effective member of the Teneo Consulting team,supportingManagers,Directorsand Managing Directors in thedelivery ofclientengagements, whileleadingsmaller projectsanddiscrete workstreams within larger, more complex cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providehigh-quality casedelivery support and workstream leadershipacross thefourcompetency areas: Research, Analysis and Insight, Technical Skills, Case Delivery
  • Demonstratestrong consulting skills,judgementandknowledge across all competency areas
  • Lead discrete workstreams and manage smaller caseswithsupport fromManagers,Directorsor Managing Directors
  • Managemultipleworkstreams,planningthecoordinating team activities whiletranslatingproject leadership requirements into deliverables, with support availablefrom managers and the wider project team where isrequiredas well as through coaching and mentoring channels
  • Developsrecommendationsfrominitialhypothesis through refinement and validation
  • Manageworkstream teamson a day-to-day basis, delegating and planningdelivery andproviding coaching support
  • Work independently with minimal need for support
  • Manageday-to-dayclientinteractions,understandingclientprioritiesand escalatingissueswhere appropriate
  • Present analyses,conclusionsand recommendationsconfidentlyto clients and project teams
  • Supportbusiness developmentactivity and contribute to wider Consulting team initiatives
  • Buildstrongclientrelationships and actively coachjuniorteam members

Basic Qualifications

  • 4-5 years’ relevantprofessionalexperience,ideally withinManagement Consulting or Professional Services
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and develop practical recommendations
  • Experience leading workstreams, managing stakeholders and delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership potential, with the ability to coach junior team members and workeffectively withinhigh-performing teams

PreferredQualifications

  • Previousmanagement consulting experience
  • Exposure to strategy, transformation, operational improvement and / or commercial due diligence projects
  • Sectorexpertiserelevant to Teneo’s client base
  • Experience supporting business development,proposalsor thought leadership activities
  • Working knowledge of a major European language
