Role Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and agree the right recruitment strategy for each hire.
- Lead direct recruitment, building a strong personal talent network and minimise reliance on recruitment firms.
- Prepare and post job advertisements, and where possible use AI-driven sourcing tools to reach a broad, diverse candidate pool.
- Screen CVs, shortlist candidates and conduct first-round interviews assessing talent through an objective, evidence-based approach.
- Prepare offer documentation and support onboarding, acting as the candidate's main point of contact from offer through to start date.
- Lead recruitment of summer interns and graduates, building relationships with universities to develop a diverse early-career pipeline.
- Recruitment Co-ordination and Reporting
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications, helping build the firm's employer brand.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data in the ATS (pipeline, time-to-hire, source of hire, conversion rates) and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from hiring managers, in alignment with quarterly reporting produced by the People and Performance analytics lead.
- Manage the administrative onboarding of new recruitment agencies and executive search firms, including setting up contracts and terms of business, ensuring commercially favourable rates and clear service level expectations.
- Support the People and Performance team to evaluate new recruitment technology.
- Talent Management and Development
- Support the coordination and delivery of training and development programmes across the firm, including logistical planning, attendance management and feedback analysis.
- Assist with the administration and ongoing development of the firm's mentoring programme, helping to match participants, coordinate communications and monitor programme effectiveness.
- Support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, including events, partnerships, reporting and employee engagement activities that help promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Assist with talent management processes, including performance management, succession planning and employee engagement activities.
- Produce reporting and analysis on talent development initiatives, helping the People & Performance team assess participation, effectiveness and outcomes.
- Support the organisation of firm-wide learning events, workshops and external training programmes, working with internal stakeholders and external providers as required.
- Compliance and ESG Responsibilities
- Individual Conduct rules: act with integrity; act with due care, skill and diligence; be open and cooperative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators; pay due regard to customers' interests; observe proper standards of market conduct.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, talent management or a related People / HR role.
- Strong academic record.
- Comfortable using, and keen to develop further, AI and recruitment technology.
- Nice to have: experience in asset management, private equity or private credit; ATS experience.
