As part of our ambitious growth plans, Netcompany is looking for DevOps Consultants to join us on a permanent basis to drive forward our delivery capability in the Cloud space. You will drive a focus on efficient software development and deployment with increased speed and quality. You will bridge the often-present gap between Development and Operations through continuous integration, delivery, build, deployment, and feedback; all focused on creating a more seamless and coherent development & delivery process. You will work with implementing and designing the CI/CD setup in various tools, to automate, simplify and secure the delivery of source code to one or more given environments. Especially when working with Cloud solutions, you will contribute with cloud platform knowledge to enable us to efficiently design, deliver and operate state of the art applications utilizing the features of the cloud platforms and related tools.

As a DevOps developer, in close dialog with customer, architect, and developers and operations, you will be able to ensure a custom infrastructure, with the best technologies, in a fast paced and rapid growing part of system development. You are able to advise your team and the customer in architectural decisions, regarding the development and deployment in cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience of AWS or Azure
  • Experience of the DevOps Lifecycle (Plan, Code, Build, Test, Package, Deploy, Operate, Monitor)
  • Experience in DevOps tooling, such as (or similar): Java, React, AzureDevOps, Terraform, Jira, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible
  • Container orchestration – Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
  • Monitoring tools: Elk-stack, Grafana
Experience In DevOps Processes
  • Plan: Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Loosely Coupled Architecture
  • Code: Pull Requests, Merge Conflict, Feature Toggling, Peer Review, Trunk based branching
  • Build: Continuous Feedback
  • Test: A/B Testing, Pipeline testing, Automated Testing
  • Deploy: Low risk deployments, canary deployment, self-serve deployment
  • Monitor: Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Anomaly Detection
Additional Skills
  • Ideally, some experience leading on projects
  • Ability to accurately estimate deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with business stakeholders and interpret requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience working within a client-facing/delivery focused role, or you have a consultancy background
