We’re looking for an experienced Painting & Decorating Operative to join our growing production team. If you take pride in high-quality finishes and have a strong background in painting and decorating, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary & Benefits
- £12.71 - £14.17 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Applicants under 21 will be paid in accordance with Government legislation, although higher rates may apply for those holding relevant qualifications.
- 38-hour week worked over 4 days Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 17:00
- Initial 6-month rolling contract, progressing to a permanent full-time position
- Attendance bonus scheme (after qualifying period)
- Christmas bonus scheme (after qualifying period)
- Paid sick leave and illness/operation support schemes (after qualifying period)
- Excellent work‑life balance with approximately 46 Fridays off per year, in addition to annual leave

About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be working on our premium Platinum Range Vans, delivering high-quality decorative finishes including painted and wallpapered interiors.
Responsibilities include:
- Painting and decorating luxury Platinum Range Van interiors
- Applying wallpaper and decorative finishes to a high standard
- Carrying out snagging and rectification work on customer sites when required
- Supporting the production line during periods when Platinum Range Vans are not in production
- Maintaining excellent quality standards and attention to detail
- Supporting aftersales and site teams when required
About Our Business
We manufacture luxury static homes from start to finish across our production lines. Our timber‑frame homes range from 28ft x 10ft to 50ft x 22ft and include premium features such as:
- Walk‑in wardrobes
- Range cookers
- Utility rooms
We also work with a variety of external finishes including:
- Tin cladding
- PVC and vinyl systems
- Composite materials
- Cement board
This variety creates a dynamic working environment where multiple skills and trades come together to deliver exceptional homes.
Travel & Flexibility
Our production team regularly supports our aftersales and site departments. As a result, there may be occasional opportunities to:
- Work away from the main production facility
- Attend and support exhibition shows across the UK
- Assist with on-site customer projects and finishing works
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Painter & Decorator or significant industry experience
- Minimum 3 years' Painting & Decorating experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to work within a production environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to support different departments when required
