Overview

Join PEM as a Advisory Tax Manager – Private Clients and help deliver tax advisory projects for high-net-worth clients. You will work closely with HNWIs, Owner Managed Businesses (OMB), Partnerships and Trusts; focusing on bespoke advisory projects, identifying new business opportunities, and mentoring junior team members. You will deliver strategic personal tax advice and support Partners and Directors with business development and meeting the team’s 2030 strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide bespoke advisory projects in personal tax for high-net-worth clients (HNWIs, OMBs, Partnerships and Trusts) and manage project delivery.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development in line with PEM’s 2030 strategy.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to develop capabilities and client-service excellence.
  • Deliver strategic personal tax advice and collaborate with Partners and Directors on client relationships and tax planning.

Qualifications

  • CTA qualification is required; other recognised accounting qualifications (STEP, ACA, ACCA) will be considered with proven post-qualification experience in personal tax advice.
  • Strong technical expertise in personal tax advisory, effective project management and team development skills; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Commercial awareness to identify business growth opportunities and a commitment to continuous learning to stay up to date with legislative changes.
