We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships, leading service delivery, and making a real difference to growing businesses.

The Virtual Finance Office (VFO) team is a dynamic team of 38 professionals delivering innovative, cloud-based finance solutions to a diverse client base. Our services span bookkeeping, management reporting, credit control and wider finance support, helping businesses gain valuable financial insight and operate more effectively.

As part of our ambitious 2030 strategy, the VFO team is entering an exciting period of growth, creating a fantastic opportunity for a Client Relationship Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, act as a trusted advisor, and help shape the future of the team.

This is a senior, client-facing role where you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial awareness and strong relationship management. You’ll work with owner-managed businesses, start-ups, SMEs, not-for‑profits and scaling businesses, delivering high-quality management accounts, VAT returns, cashflow forecasts and wider financial reporting, while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

You’ll be a key point of contact for your clients, understanding their businesses, challenges and goals, and identifying opportunities to add value. You’ll also work closely with our internal processing and production teams to ensure smooth delivery, manage risks proactively, improve recoveries through confident commercial conversations, and support the development of junior team members.
