ABOUT THE ROLE
The People Advisor will provide hands-on support, coaching and guidance on all people matters, to enhance our team member experience and drive positive outcomes. The ideal candidate understands the value of strategic HR partnership and empowering our people leaders. This role will focus on driving consistency of process and approach across Europe and Australia. Reporting into the Senior People Business Partner, this person will work alongside highly collaborative Centers of Excellence teams.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Act as the primary support for people matters across the UK, Germany, Poland and Australia.
- Provide end-to-end management of those matters, ensuring adherence to company policy and relevant employment law.
- Provide support, thought leadership and coaching for team members and people leaders across the business - including Studio, Retail and Corporate teams.
- Coach business leaders on people processes, including performance management, absence management, redundancy, disciplinary and grievances.
- Provide training and development on key processes for people leaders at all levels, to improve leadership capability and drive a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Analyze trends and metrics, collaborating with HR functional experts to share insights, make recommendations and drive proactive solutions.
- Partner closely with Employment Legal, People Business Partners and Team Member Relations on the identification, escalation, risk mitigation and resolution of employee relations issues.
- Partner with Environmental Health and Safety to support our teams to drive a culture of safety.
- Partner with our Global Inclusion and Impact team to identify opportunities to develop and drive inclusive leadership.
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Experience working in People Advisor or People Business Partner role, supporting the UK and ideally at least one other market in EMEA.
- Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments; ideally including partnering with shift-based teams (such as production and/or retail).
- Recognized as a credible (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); proactive (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought partner (builds relationships, delivers results).
- Highly collaborative work style; ability to establish relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and pivot in changing situations; handling these with tact, poise, and patience.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to take sizable problems and break them into small manageable pieces.
- Strong judgment and integrity, including excellent decision-making skills.
