ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton is looking for a hard-working, motivated Financial Analyst who will play a critical role in supporting demand planning, financial forecasting and management reporting for the International business; providing financial planning analysis and data-driven insights and assisting with business performance updates to support decision-making across multiple departments within Peloton. The ideal candidate has prior experience with demand forecasting with a history of using traffic and conversion metrics to deliver these forecasts. This person is also adept at communicating their results clearly and concisely, is confident presenting in front of senior stakeholders, possesses strong prioritsation skills, and demonstrates a desire to continually raise the bar of their work.This person will work closely with cross-functional teams and corporate leaders to provide forecasting, reporting, and strategic support.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Demand Forecasting : Develop and maintain demand forecasts for Peloton products across international markets, incorporating historical data, market trends, seasonality, and other relevant factors. You will communicate any impactful insights to the wider organisation, enabling them to have a better understanding of International demand and the factors that influence it. Prior experience using traffic and conversion to forecast demand is strongly desired.
  • Demand Analysis: Analyse demand patterns, including SKU-level demand, pricing variations, promotions and geographical variations, to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Financial Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts. Co-ordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders and software to create a financial plan for the business with a focus on sales and revenue, assisting with other areas as needed
  • Management Reporting: Support the monthly close process through partnership with Accounting as well as the Global FP&A team based in New York City. Assist in monthly and quarterly internal reporting, including driving insightful analyses to explain trends and any variance to plans
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Work closely with the cross functional teams to update business analyses and financial models required for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning. Assist in the creation of ad-hoc analyses for cross-functional leaders and help to identify key trends and potential risks and opportunities across the business

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • Experience in forecasting, financial planning or a related role, preferably in a consumer goods or direct-to-consumer environment
  • Advanced Excel / PowerPoint / Financial Modeling skills (and G-Suite equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.; Looker preferred
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting software such as NetSuite
  • Experience with international consolidation and reporting a plus
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • An organised and diligent approach to solving open-ended problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
