As a People Operations Generalist at Peloton, you will be the backbone of our international teams in the UK, Germany, and Australia. You will manage the full team member lifecycle and serve as the go‑to contact for HR‑related questions. You will partner with leaders and the People team to ensure our practices are compliant and our culture is vibrant and engaging.
Daily Impact at Peloton
- Manage the Team Member Journey: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from welcoming new hires with a seamless onboarding experience to processing offboarding and final pay requests. You will also manage leaves of absence and track important milestones like probation periods.
- Ensure Compliance and Support: Provide timely and accurate support by answering first‑level HR inquiries and maintaining meticulous employee records. You will partner with our expert teams to ensure all HR processes, including contracts and benefits, are fully aligned with international laws like GDPR and local regulations. You will also serve as a key point of contact for German authorities.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Support People programs, streamline processes, and recommend improvements to enhance the employee experience. You will also prepare HR reports and collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely compensation.
- Partner with Leaders: Assist the People Business Partner team with employee relations matters, offering a consultative approach to advise leaders on company policy and support key projects.
You bring to Peloton
- Experience and Expertise: You have proven experience in an HR generalist role, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Market Acumen: You possess a strong understanding of UK and German employment law and HR best practices. Knowledge of the Australian employment market is a plus, but not essential.
- Bilingual Communication: Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Key Skills: You are a proactive, results‑oriented problem‑solver with a high level of integrity and attention to detail. You are able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Education: A degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Additional certifications (e.g., CIPD) are a plus.
