RSBG SE’s mission is to generate sustainable funds for the foundation; Based in our growing Edinburgh team you will assisting in the production of the final AutoCAD drawings for a range of projects ranging from swept path assessments, junction layouts, cycleway design, housing developments, through to large scale renewable projects across Europe. The Edinburgh team offers a unique opportunity to be fully remote in your work, however as the team meet up regularly you would still need to be able to access Edinburgh for team meetings however this should not preclude application from anywhere within the UK. Implementing your own initiative and technical skills, you will support the wider (multi-disciplinary) project team through safe, efficient and effective delivery of tasks to deadlines. This will ensure that the project remains within budget and to agreed standards. You will be responsible for delivery of assigned tasks whilst acting under minimal supervision, therefore you will be expected to plan your own work to meet given objectives. Implement project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards ~ You will have experience of AutoCAD and the use of Civils would be beneficial but not essential. ~ Prepare own discipline designs, drawings and schedules as identified in the Project Quality. ~ Assist other CAD Technicians and making sure that all drawings are complete and sent to meet tight deadlines ~ Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure completion of jobs ~ HNC Computer Aided Design HNC Civil Engineering Considerable experience working within a consultancy environment with AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking A background in Transport Planning or Roads Engineering ( Preferred ) Experience working with abnormal loads associated with renewables projects( Preferred ) Experience using Civil 3D ( Preferred ) Ability to work independently from home Use of AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking Full Driving License We provide a collaborative and supportive working environment, where you’ll have the freedom and flexibility to create your own pathway and make a real impact within the business and in the communities in which you will operate.
