We are expanding our Bridges team and are looking to hire a Senior or Principal Bridge Engineer in Mold or Manchester. Our Mold or Manchester office is seeking a Senior or Principal Bridge Engineer to take a leading technical role within our growing team. You will lead multidisciplinary delivery, oversee quality and governance, and guide the next generation of bridge engineers.
You will work on a diverse portfolio including feasibility studies, inspection and assessment programmes, new bridge designs, strengthening schemes, and strategic infrastructure.

Role based in Luton. Full UK driving licence essential. Full UK Right to Work required, we are unable to sponsor.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as technical lead on complex projects and major work packages.
- Provide technical assurance and oversee compliance with standards.
- Manage and mentor engineers and technicians.
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Support business planning, resource allocation and project governance.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Civil or Structural Engineering degree, or apprenticeship.
- Preferred: Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer (ICE/IStructE). Postgraduate technical specialism.
Experience:
- Essential: Significant consultancy experience leading bridge design/assessment projects.
- Preferred: Experience delivering major UK infrastructure or frameworks.
Skills:
- Essential: Leadership, technical expertise, QA, stakeholder engagement.
- Preferred: Bid leadership, business development, or technical innovation.
