Overview

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Childcare Manager to join us on a year‑round basis and lead the next stage of childcare at Peligoni.

With strong foundations already in place and exciting longer‑term plans ahead, this role will play an important part in shaping the department over the coming years by building on what we do well, refining how we work and helping us develop our childcare offering in a thoughtful and sustainable way.

During the summer season you will be based in Greece, overseeing the full childcare operation across all age groups, from babies and toddlers through to teens.

During the winter months you will be based in the UK, focusing on planning, policy, training, recruitment, programme development and preparation for the season ahead.

As part of the club leadership team, you will also act as the voice of our younger guests, making sure children and families are considered in wider conversations about the club, our spaces, our programming and the overall guest journey.

You will need to balance what is best for children and families with what is operationally realistic, commercially viable and right for Peligoni as a whole.

This varied, hands‑on leadership role requires strong childcare knowledge, seasonal operational experience, excellent organisation and the ability to bring people, plans and details together.

About the role

The childcare department supports children from 4 months to 17 years old across several age groups.

As Childcare Manager you will have overall responsibility for the smooth running, development and delivery of the childcare operation.

You will lead and support the childcare supervisors and wider seasonal team, coordinate daily logistics, maintain high standards of safeguarding and care, and work closely with other departments to ensure childcare aligns with the wider club experience.

You will also set the tone and culture of the club and represent the standards, values and spirit of Peligoni in everything you do.

  • Act as a key point of contact for parents and carers, responding to questions, feedback and concerns professionally.

  • Lead by example, stepping into the operation when needed and supporting the team practically.

• Winter – UK

  • Review and refine childcare policies, procedures, risk assessments and SOPs.
  • Plan and improve the childcare programme ahead of each season.
  • Develop training materials and support pre‑season training.
  • Work with the People team on recruitment, selection and onboarding.
