About The Peligoni Club
The Peligoni Club is a family-run members club on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, Greece. Our weekly events are a huge part of the Peligoni experience, from open fire feasts and food festival nights to guest chef dinners and live music evenings. Across the low season we also host weddings and private events, each with its own identity - from cocktail parties on the decks to villa pool-party lunches and intimate ceremonies in olive groves. Every event requires thoughtful setup, strong teamwork and smooth, confident service.
About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic and organised Events Supervisor to oversee our weekly Courtyard events and support our Events Team with weddings and special events throughout the season. This is a hands-on, F&B-focused role, ideal for a strong waiter or restaurant supervisor who loves the buzz of events and enjoys leading a team through busy, atmospheric evenings. You’ll help coordinate set-ups, oversee service, keep communication flowing between departments and ensure each event delivers the polished, relaxed experience the club is known for. While events will be your main focus, you’ll also support other outlets when needed, working as part of a close and collaborative F&B team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of weekly Courtyard events, ensuring smooth set-up, service and pack-down.
- Support the Events Team in coordinating weddings and special events.
- Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen, bar, restaurant and facilities teams.
- Welcome guests warmly and help create a vibrant, friendly atmosphere.
- Ensure consistently high service standards across food, drink and guest interaction.
- Maintain event areas to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest queries or issues.
- Support other F&B outlets during peak times or when required.
- Promote best practices in safety, hygiene and guest care.
- Talk confidently about the club, weekly programme and facilities on offer.
- Take on additional duties to support smooth club operations.
About You
- Confident in a guest-facing environment and comfortable leading service.
- Experienced in restaurants and events.
- Highly organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
- A strong communicator who brings teams together.
- Sociable, positive and capable of creating a great atmosphere.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of service quality.
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about seasonal life.
- A motivated, energetic team player.
- Previous hospitality experience in front of house, events or restaurant supervision.
- Experience working in busy service environments.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge.
- Previous EPOS experience (desirable).
- Up-to-date Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (required).
- Full driving licence (desirable).
- Available for the full season (May–October).
- EU passport holder.
Why Join Us
