VTM Highway Services supports utility, highways and infrastructure contractors with safe and responsive temporary traffic-management services.

We are looking for an organised and approachable Streetworks Coordinator to help plan our works, manage permits and keep our clients and operational teams well informed.

The Role

You will play an important part in ensuring that works are properly scheduled, documented and coordinated from the initial request through to completion.

Your day-to-day work may include:

  • Preparing and monitoring permit applications.
  • Booking road space and coordinating planned works.
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities and operational teams.
  • Keeping works information and systems up to date.
  • Monitoring permit conditions, variations and deadlines.
  • Supporting the scheduling of traffic-management crews and equipment.
  • Responding to changes, delays and short-notice requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records for completed and ongoing works.

What We're Looking For

The ideal applicant will:

  • Have experience in streetworks, utilities, highways or traffic management.
  • Understand permits and the coordination of works on the highway.
