Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in interpreting data, analysing results, and providing ongoing reports to assist in decision-making processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in various data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify trends and insights that can drive strategic decisions.
  • Utilise data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI to present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment with project goals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Develop and maintain databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL for efficient data retrieval and storage.
  • Design and implement database structures that support business needs while ensuring data integrity.
  • Write scripts in Python, R, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data manipulation and automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Create detailed documentation using Visio to illustrate workflows and processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.

Experience

  • Proven experience in business analysis or a related field is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management principles is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SQL is required; experience with database design is a plus.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell) is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Tableau or Power BI for data visualisation purposes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
