At Peleman, we believe every message deserves to stand out.
As a marketing-led organisation, we help brands elevate their content through premium printed presentation solutions that make an impact — visually, tactically and emotionally. To strengthen our presence in the UK market, we are looking for a Customer Engagement Field Sales & Channel Development professional who will become the face of Peleman in the field — towards end customers and our distributor network.
In this hybrid role, you combine two commercial tracks:
- Direct Sales (End customers) – you visit prospects and customers, lead consultative conversations and close deals.
- Channel Development (Distributors) – you grow our UK distributor network: you follow up and activate our current partner base, while building focused growth plans with potential partners to scale significantly.
You take full ownership of the commercial conversation, from first meeting to closing and follow-up. For the channel side, you proactively develop, activate and expand partner relationships and ensure distributors are enabled to win and grow with Peleman. You position Peleman as a trusted partner for premium presentation solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Visiting new and existing customers through pre-planned, qualified appointments
- Leading professional, confident conversations with decision makers and stakeholders
- Understanding customer needs, messaging and brand positioning
- Presenting and demonstrating Peleman’s portfolio of premium presentation solutions
- Advising customers on how our products help elevate their content and communication
- Negotiating and closing deals with a focus on long-term partnerships
- Building and managing a sustainable customer portfolio in the UK
- Identifying growth opportunities, upsell and cross-sell potential
- Managing and developing our existing UK distributor base
- Creating and executing joint growth plans with key partners (with strong focus on high-potential distributors)
- Identifying and onboarding new distributors where strategic
- Enabling distributors with the right product story, tools and commercial approach (training, launches, joint actions)
- Driving partner engagement and accountability through structured follow-up (pipeline, actions, results)
- Spotting market opportunities via the channel and translating them into growth initiatives
Commercial ownership:
- Managing your own planning, follow-up and CRM administration
- Collaborating closely with marketing, inside sales and support teams
- Sharing market feedback and customer insights to improve our go-to-market approach
Who you are:
You are a natural relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset. You feel comfortable representing a premium brand in person and know how to adapt your conversation to different stakeholders, including C-level. You are autonomous, organised and enjoy being on the road. You don’t just sell products, you tell stories, ask the right questions and guide customers and partners towards solutions that make sense for their business. You combine hunter energy (spotting opportunities, opening doors, pushing deals forward) with a farmer mindset (building sustainable relationships and growing accounts and partners over time). Most importantly, you are genuinely enthusiastic about helping customers make their message stand out.
Your profile:
- Proven experience in B2B field sales or face-to-face commercial roles
- Experience with distributor/channel management is a strong plus (or clear affinity and willingness to build this skill)
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- A consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
- Strategic and commercial insight, able to spot and prioritise opportunities
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of a region
- Professional, confident and representative in every interaction
- Affinity with branding, marketing, design or premium products is a strong plus
What we offer:
- A key commercial role within a marketing-led organisation
- The opportunity to represent a strong, premium brand in the UK market
- The chance to build and accelerate a distributor network, with real ownership and impact
- A collaborative environment with close alignment between sales and marketing
- Room to grow, take ownership and make real impact
- A competitive salary package aligned with your experience
If you recognise yourself in this role and are excited to help customers elevate their content with premium presentation solutions, directly and through partners, we’d love to hear from you.
