Pektron are looking for an additional engineer to join our multi-disciplined engineering team.

At our HQ in Derby we employ 320 staff and operate Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Testing, Quality and Support functions, whilst our Sales and Technology centre in Detroit supports our customers in the US.
Duties:
- Development primarily of test software in C# for testing new and existing products.
- Develop and debug Test set hardware.
- Lead improvement activities based on data from test equipment.
- Take an active role in test strategy development and deployment of test sets used in our production process.
- Set up/maintain in-house developed test environments.
- Requirements analysis and defining of test criteria.
- Test case creation and execution.
- Diagnostic and problem solving.

We are based in Derby (DE21 4AP), easily commutable from the Derby area, Nottingham, Mansfield, Burton, Loughborough, Ashbourne and the Peak District and East Staffordshire. We have 5 modern, purpose-built buildings at our Derby site including state of the art manufacturing facilities and a purpose-built Engineering centre. Our facilities have been recognised as being some of the most modern and well-equipped electronics design, development and manufacturing plants in Europe.
