Join to apply for the Reporter role at PEI. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team of Infrastructure Investor Deals as a Reporter in our London office. The Reporter will work closely with the Editor of Infrastructure Investor Deals, a new publication launched by PEI Group in January, focusing on institutional capital deployment into global infrastructure assets. The role involves writing daily news stories for a fast-paced, breaking news website, including off-diary and on-diary stories, and interfacing with the market to establish relationships with industry figures. The Reporter must source and present data to keep our data offering accurate and relevant.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Produce daily news, focusing on exclusives and breaking news.
- Write analysis and opinion pieces as required.
- Source high-quality, deal-focused data points in collaboration with our R&A department to enhance stories.
- Create multimedia content, including podcasts, videos, and interactive presentations.
- Pitch story ideas and content leads.
- Assist with website curation and the creation of news alerts.
- Engage with the market regularly, focusing on face-to-face meetings and sourcing.
- Communicate with the Editor and meet daily deadlines.
- Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the PEI Events team and moderate discussions at company-hosted events when appropriate.
