The marketing team will be strategic partners to the business, collaborating to design and deliver customer-centric, creative and high-performance programs which improve brand preference, engage more market professionals and underpin commercial success.

The Digital Marketing Analyst, based in London, will be a key driver of growth for PEI Group’s global portfolio of subscriptions and events products. You will empower product marketers to accelerate their go-to-market plans by developing and delivering actionable insights and support innovative ABM strategies. As part of the Digital Marketing Operations (DMO) team, you will work alongside marketers in the digital information platforms, networks and events teams to develop new ways to communicate with audiences efficiently and effectively whilst accurately reporting on all activity to measure ROI and campaign performance.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Track and monitor key performance metrics daily and weekly; highlighting changes, risks and opportunities to marketing and commercial stakeholders.
  • Build and develop new reporting and analysis to help the marketing teams to better understand the drivers of growth, and return on investment.
  • Leverage our comprehensive data lake and our wide range of data sources to provide business intelligence that can be acted on.
  • Make effective use of the reporting available across the range of marketing platforms that we employ, to provide a holistic view of marketing performance, and support strategic decision making.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer personas, workflows, and role-specific needs to inform tailored marketing strategies.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of PEI’s product offerings across all revenue lines (digital platforms, networks, events, and marketing solutions) to guide targeted marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with Data, Technology, Product, Editorial and Events Teams: Input to new product developments and tech changes for all PEI content.
  • Identify ways to improve user volume, experience and usage of websites to deliver company and person level growth while ensuring engagement and retention is not negatively impacted.
  • Work with Asset Class marketing teams – respond to requests for DMO support to improve inbound traffic and conversions and build and deliver outbound marketing programs to TAM audiences.
Experience & Skills
  • Demonstrable experience managing and delivering reporting and insights within a highly commercial B2B business environment.
  • SQL. Plus: Tableau/PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Experience with Databricks or similar Lakehouse applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Google Analytics/HEAP, SemRush/Brightedge, IndexingInsight and similar martech applications.
  • Marketo/Sailthru/Eloqua/Hubspot or similar marketing automation, and common CRM platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong people skills and stakeholder management – within and outside of marketing team.
  • Track record of working closely with product, technology, content and sales teams to drive commercial revenue growth.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence peers and senior leadership.
  • Excellent planning, project management and performance analysis skills; adept at multi-tasking, prioritisation and collaborating with colleagues across functions.
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting holistic and successful inbound and outbound marketing programmes resulting in increased demand, leads, and revenue.
  • Broad B2B marketing knowledge and experience across Brand, Demand, ABM, Events and Communications.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques, technologies, tools and ways to improve efforts and outcomes including through emerging technologies e.g. AI.
  • Proven record of researching and delivering relevant tech tools and processes which are up to date, innovative, user-friendly and allows the best environment for high performing marketers to flourish; to deliver growth with less effort.
