We at PEI Group are looking for a Sub-Editor to join our welcoming, diverse and growing team in London. The successful candidate will edit news articles, features and data for web and print on developments and trends in private equity and other alternative assets, such as infrastructure and real estate. You will oversee the creation and publication of PEI Group’s editorial newsletters, produce digital infographics and presentations, and make a significant contribution to the editorial team in improving the quality of the group’s digital output.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Edit copy to high standard in terms of accuracy, grammar and house style;
- Upload content from print publications to PEI’s digital CMS;
- Create/update homepages and landing pages;
- Manage the creation and production of email newsletters;
- Produce infographic presentations and other digital assets;
- Proofread print pages;
- Demonstrate high level of organisation and self-motivation to meet multiple deadlines;
- Collaborate with colleagues across teams and in offices around the world to develop original content ideas.

Qualifications & Experience:
- At least two years’ journalism experience.
- Strong organisational skills and working knowledge of standard journalism practices and techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail, grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation and tone;
- Working knowledge of both US and UK English grammar and spelling.
- Knowledge of WordPress, Sailthru, Excel and data visualization packages.
- Experience of working with charts and data.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign.
