About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team of Infrastructure Investor Deals as a Reporter in our London office! The Reporter will work closely with the Editor of Infrastructure Investor Deals, a new publication launched by PEI Group in January, focusing on institutional capital deployment into global infrastructure assets. The role involves writing daily news stories for a fast-paced, breaking news website, including both off-diary and on-diary stories. The Reporter is expected to engage with the market regularly, establishing relationships with senior industry figures. Infrastructure Investor Deals is data-focused, requiring sourcing and presenting data points to ensure the data is current and relevant.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Produce daily news, focusing on exclusives and breaking news
• Write analysis and opinion pieces as needed
• Source high-quality, deal-focused data points in collaboration with the R&A department
• Create multimedia content such as podcasts, videos, and interactive presentations
• Pitch story ideas and content leads
• Assist with website curation and the creation of news alerts
• Engage with the market through face-to-face meetings and develop sources
• Communicate regularly with the Editor and meet deadlines
• Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy
• Collaborate with the PEI Events team and moderate discussions at events

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience in journalism or related fields
• Strong network-building skills among senior professionals
• Experience in breaking off-diary stories and writing analysis
