As a pricing Associate you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Commercial teams by providing guidance on pricing strategy, complex deals, and shaping the pricing architecture of PEI. This role drives pricing as a strategic growth lever and combines tactical deal support and strategic pricing and packaging improvements across strategy, enablement, governance, and reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Editorial, Commercial, and Finance teams to design, implement, and support data-driven pricing strategies with significant senior exposure in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Position pricing as a strategic lever for growth
  • Act as a business partner for Product, Editorial, Commercial, and Finance teams
  • Provide consultative support to sales, shaping complex deals, managing pricing model migrations, and negotiation trade-offs to drive customer experience while maximising value capture
  • Provide training, playbooks, and tools to support Commercial teams and partner with Marketing to build and align pricing and value narratives
  • Evolve the pricing model, execution tools, and governance regime to maximise renewal and new business outcomes backed-up with robust customer-level impact modelling
  • Build pricing tools and dashboards in tools such as Tableau, Excel, and CRM
  • Track renewal and new business KPIs and take action to drive results
  • Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in pricing and packaging covering strategic pricing, enablement, governance, and deal-desk support
  • Experience of supporting sales teams with pricing model transitions
  • Experience of B2B subscription-based pricing models required with a preference for experience in Data Services
  • Strong analytical capability coupled with commercial acumen and ability to build sales enablement tooling
  • A broad understanding of private markets (private equity, real estate, infrastructure, debt, venture capital) is preferred, an interest in financial markets is required
  • Experience with working in an entrepreneurial environment
