Pehla Qadam Childcare is looking for a passionate and caring Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team and work within our Baby Room.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner who genuinely enjoys working with babies and wants to be part of a warm, nurturing nursery where children's individual needs, development and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
As a Baby Room Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and learning experiences for our youngest children.
You will:
- Provide warm, responsive and nurturing care to babies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Support children's development through play, exploration and age-appropriate activities.
- Follow individual routines including feeding, sleeping and personal care.
- Carry out observations and contribute to children's learning and development.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment.
- Follow EYFS, safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents and keep them informed about their child's day and development.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified to Level 3 in Early Years / Childcare or holds an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experienced working with babies or very young children.
- Caring, patient and attentive to children's individual needs.
- Confident working as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
- Passionate about providing high standards of care and early years education.
- Reliable, professional and committed to safeguarding children's welfare.
- Able to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
