Overview
Pegasystems is growing and is seeking an experienced, customer-facing expert to lead and guide regional Cloud Migrations efforts as the Principal Service Assurance Advisor, Cloud Migrations. This role drives best practices for migrating on-premise Pega deployments to Pega Cloud Services and ensures customer success through delivery excellence and continuous improvement. The SME will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Pega to support migration initiatives and keep clients current on the latest Pega versions.
What You\’ll Do At Pega
- Regional Engagement Oversight — Support, guide, and enable the Service Assurance Advisors (SAA) and Technical Account Managers (TAM) in the region on client engagements related to Cloud Migrations.
- Advise clients and partners in the region on Cloud Migration approaches and best practices.
- Contribute to identifying and documenting migration best practices.
- Ensure migration best-practice guidelines are followed by clients and partners in the region.
- Work with the Migration Service Teams and regional SAAs/TAMs to plan and execute migration projects.
- Qualify new cloud migration engagements in the region in coordination with the regional Sr. Director to forecast SAA resources accordingly.
COE Continuous Improvement
- Capture client and partner feedback from SAAs/TAMs on migration projects for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Pega product engineering, cloud engineering, and operations to address feedback and drive improvements.
- Assist in research and development on migration best practices, technical documentation, and tooling.
- Align with SMEs in other regions to share findings and ensure global consistency in operations.

What You\’ve Accomplished
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 12+ years of relevant work experience, ideally with 3-5 years in either consulting or a technical lead role.
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services.
- Familiarity with J2EE architecture and application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBOSS).
- 5+ years Pega Consulting experience (preferred).
- CSSA minimum certification; CLSA preferred (training provided).
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of database administration (Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL, UDB or DB2).
- Experience on Pega Upgrade projects and with Pega Cloud Services is a major plus.
- Experience with JavaScript, SQL, and CSS/HTML.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, AIX, Solaris, Linux, z/OS).
- Familiarity with integration protocols and technologies (SOAP/REST, MQ, JMS).
