You will be based at our beautiful Pegasus Cobham Bowers development, a stunning, award winning architect designed community of apartments, residents lounge, stretch studio, guest suite and landscaped gardens.
About our role: This is a varied role in which you'll be the driving force behind our residential development. You'll be our go-to person on-site, making sure everything operates seamlessly while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our residents. This exciting role has a perfect mix of practical building knowledge and a commitment to cultivating a lively community.
This role offers a great variety of tasks where you'll be responsible for:
- Building Operations: Conduct regular building inspections and carry out essential checks, including fire alarm, emergency light, and water system testing. Coordinate with external contractors to ensure effective maintenance and timely repairs. Ensure all health and safety requirements for the development are met. Therefore, this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check (we handle the application and cost for this). This is a fixed term contract expected to last 9-12 months.
About you: You’ll be part of a small team that are the heart of our community. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a 'people person' who takes genuine pride in their surroundings. Experience in facilities management, property maintenance, or luxury hospitality is a significant plus. You take responsibility seriously. You understand the importance of Health & Safety compliance and are diligent when it comes to essential checks and record-keeping. From managing a move‑in schedule to planning a summer garden party, you can juggle administrative tasks and event planning without breaking a sweat. You’re a clear communicator who enjoys working with internal teams and external contractors to get the job done right.
Your attributes: You understand that Pegasus Cobham Bowers isn't just a building, it’s a home. You’ll treat the development with the care and attention to detail it deserves. You are punctual, professional, and possess a calm head when dealing with emergencies. You are comfortable using basic IT systems for logging maintenance requests and maintaining digital records.
Invested in your wellbeing: At Pegasus Homes, we believe an effective work-life balance requires support across three key elements. By joining our team you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package:
- Financial & Security: Contributory pension with enhanced employer input, Life Assurance, a Company Discounts Portal, and a Refer-a-Friend scheme.
