We’re looking for a qualified electrician ready to come off the tools and move into a more technical, desk-based role within the renewables sector. This position will involve carrying out desktop technical audits of domestic renewable energy installations, reviewing technical documentation and ensuring systems are installed to the highest industry and compliance standards. You’ll work closely with installation teams, providing technical support, identifying issues and helping drive quality improvements across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct desktop technical audits of renewable energy installations, upgrades and maintenance checks
  • Review technical documentation, certifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Identify defects, safety concerns or performance issues and provide clear recommendations for corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement by highlighting recurring issues and trends across installations
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and installation teams to resolve audit findings and improve overall quality
