Solar PV Design Engineer (Junior & Experienced)

I'm working with a growing renewable energy company that's expanding its design team and looking to hire two Solar PV Design Engineers – one experienced and one junior. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that’s at the forefront of commercial solar projects in the UK.

About the Role:
You'll be part of a forward-thinking design team working on a range of commercial solar PV systems. The role includes producing system architecture diagrams, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with teams across electrical, mechanical, and operations.
Depending on your experience, you'll either support or lead the design process - all while gaining exposure to cutting-edge tech and real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop system and single-line diagrams (SLDs)
- Produce design reports and technical documentation
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure compliance with DNO and regulatory standards
- Use design platforms including SolarEdge, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Support system commissioning and digital setup
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and innovation

- Comfortable leading on projects from design to delivery
