An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing organisation at the forefront of energy efficiency and decarbonisation solutions. Our client delivers large-scale LED lighting and energy efficiency projects across local authority, healthcare, and commercial environments, supporting clients on their journey toward Net Zero through innovative technologies including LED Lighting, Solar PV, Heating Solutions, EV Charging, and Air Purification.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and strengthen the LED project delivery function, driving operational excellence, governance, and project performance across a multi-project environment.

The Opportunity

This is a leadership-focused role suited to a senior project professional with experience delivering complex construction, building services, M&E, HVAC, or infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in developing project delivery capability, improving consistency and controls, embedding best practice, and supporting Project Managers across multiple live projects nationwide.

The successful candidate will bring a structured, commercially aware, and process-driven approach, alongside the leadership skills needed to build a scalable and high-performing delivery function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the LED project delivery function across multiple concurrent projects
  • Oversee and support Project Managers to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction
  • Drive consistency in project governance, reporting, planning, and commercial management
  • Embed and enforce project management processes, procedures, and delivery standards
  • Improve operational efficiency, programme control, risk management, and reporting accuracy
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to delivery teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, RAMS, CDM regulations, and relevant industry standards
  • Support strategic growth and scalability within the delivery operation

About You

  • Proven experience operating in a Senior Project Management or Project Delivery leadership role
  • Strong background delivering complex projects within construction, M&E, building services, HVAC, lighting, or energy sectors
  • Experience managing multiple projects and overseeing Project Managers within a structured delivery environment
  • Excellent commercial awareness, reporting, governance, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, planning, and operational processes
  • Experience working within local authority, healthcare, or commercial sectors would be advantageous
  • Confident leading teams and driving standards within a growing business

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent Project Management qualification
  • NEBOSH / IOSH
  • SMSTS
  • CIBSE or IET membership
  • Knowledge of LED lighting projects, controls, and compliance standards including CIBSE, BS EN 12464, and HTM
  • Dialux / Relux experience
  • Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition, ECS, or CSCS
