As demand continues to grow, we’re hiring an LED Electrical Design Engineer, but this isn’t your typical “design-heavy” role. This role is about engineering quality, safety, and compliance. We’re looking for someone who understands how installations actually work on-site — someone who can challenge, validate, and ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard.
Ideal for:

What you’ll be doing:
- Producing compliant electrical designs (schematics, load calcs, circuit schedules)
- Ensuring full compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and emergency lighting standards
- Reviewing installations before, during and after delivery
- Providing technical sign-off and guidance to project & installation teams
- Validating integration of LED upgrades into existing systems
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and certification (EICs, Minor Works, Emergency Lighting)
What we’re looking for:
- Strong background in commercial/industrial electrical installations
- Solid working knowledge of BS7671 in real-world environments
- 18th Edition (essential)
- Inspection & Testing (2391) highly desirable
- Ability to read, challenge, and improve electrical designs
- Confidence working with site teams and project managers
