An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Installation Manager to join a rapidly expanding organisation delivering large-scale commercial and industrial solar PV projects across the UK.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Field Operations Manager, you'll lead and develop a team of Mechanical Engineers across the North of the UK, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time supporting engineers in the field, carrying out technical inspections, mentoring Lead Engineers and driving continuous improvement across the installation function.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing Mechanical Installation Engineers across the Northern region.
- Carrying out technical inspections and maintaining exceptional installation quality.
- Supporting project delivery across multiple commercial solar PV installations.
- Coaching and mentoring Lead Engineers to develop future talent.
- Driving health & safety, compliance and CDM standards.
- Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and Design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Resolving on-site technical challenges and maintaining programme delivery.
- Promoting a positive, engaged and high-performing engineering culture.

- Experience leading mechanical installation teams within Commercial or Industrial Solar PV.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
