We’re working with a leading consultancy embedded within some of the UK’s most high-profile defence programmes, seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to take a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategy on major capital and infrastructure projects.
Working across a portfolio of nationally significant defence schemes, you’ll be responsible for procuring both professional services (under NEC4) and Tier 1/Prime Contractors for capital delivery or high-value equipment projects. This is a client-side, strategic role requiring someone who understands the complexities of public sector governance and the nuance of working in secure environments.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in procurement within the defence, infrastructure or government sector
- Strong background in procuring consultancy/professional services under NEC4 and/or prime contractor selection
- MCIPS or equivalent commercial qualification (preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and contract negotiation skills
- Security Clearance (SC or DV) – essential
