We are seeking Quantity Surveyors to join our clients Cost Management team, contributing to the continued growth of our business and supporting the delivery of large projects with opportunities available across a variety of sectors including: Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial and Regeneration.
Our client is a leading Construction Consultancy offering project management, cost and commercial management as well as advisory services with the opportunity to progress into a variety of other sectors / roles.
You will work across a variety of client projects, delivering best-in-class cost management and contributing to successful outcomes in line with project and organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Client and Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders involved in projects. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Contract Administration - Manage and administer a variety of contracts, ensuring adherence to project objectives, governance frameworks and best practices. Implement contract change management processes effectively to keep projects on track.
- Cost Management - Monitor, forecast, and report project costs accurately to completion, ensuring alignment with approved budgets. Proactively identify and manage cost variances and maintain contract cash flow integrity. Prepare and submit applications and valuations in a timely manner.
- Must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager for a Construction Consultancy
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering)
- Have full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship is available)
