We're working with a well-established consultancy delivering some of the UK's most complex energy and infrastructure programmes, and they're looking to strengthen their commercial team with experienced Cost Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers. These are opportunities to join a growing sector at a time when investment across energy, nuclear, renewables and wider infrastructure is accelerating rapidly.
The business supports major programmes across:
- Nuclear new build and decommissioning
- Renewables and energy transition projects
- Transmission & distribution
- Carbon capture and low-carbon infrastructure
- Transport and utilities infrastructure
You'll be joining a collaborative commercial team working across high-profile projects and long-term frameworks, with genuine scope for progression, chartership support and exposure to nationally significant programmes.
The Role
Depending on your level, you'll take responsibility for a range of commercial and cost management activities across the project lifecycle, including:
- Cost planning and estimating
- Procurement and tender management
- Contract administration (NEC3/4 and/or FIDIC)
- Change control and cost reporting
- Risk and value management
- Commercial governance and stakeholder management
- Supporting programme and project delivery teams
- Managing client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value

- Experience within cost management, quantity surveying or commercial management
- Exposure to major infrastructure or energy projects
- NEC3/4 and/or FIDIC contract experience

- A degree or HNC qualification in a relevant discipline
- Chartership or progress towards chartership would be advantageous
- Experience across sectors such as nuclear, utilities, rail, highways, aviation, water, oil & gas or renewables would all be relevant.
