With a growing workload and ambitious plans for the future, they're looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a talented Quantity Surveyor.
You'll be involved in projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
The Role
As part of a collaborative team, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparing cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies
- Managing procurement and tender processes
- Producing tender documentation and analysing returns
- Contract administration and commercial management
- Cost reporting, valuations, variations and final accounts
- Providing clear commercial advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Working across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, education, healthcare and regeneration projects
- Developing lasting client relationships through a proactive and professional approach
About You
You'll ideally have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Consultancy experience within the built environment
Strong pre and post-contract experience
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
Confidence working directly with clients and project teams
A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality outcomes
Newly MRICS, or working towards chartership, is advantageous but isn't essential
