We are supporting the growth of a leading consultancy team delivering a diverse portfolio of complex aviation capital projects across operational airport environments. As part of this expansion, we are seeking Project Managers from a range of technical backgrounds to support major programmes and smaller specialist schemes.
These opportunities would suit candidates with approximately 6-12 years’ post-graduate experience who can demonstrate strong technical grounding, exposure to project management responsibilities, and the ability to operate across multiple concurrent projects.
Importantly, these are not “one size fits all” PM roles. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in one of the following areas:
- Project Manager – Electrical / Renewable Energy
- We are keen to speak with Project Managers who have an electrical engineering background, ideally with experience delivering renewable energy projects such as solar PV or wider energy infrastructure schemes.
- Key experience may include:
- Electrical infrastructure or renewable energy projects
- Solar PV or wider decarbonisation programmes
- Project delivery and stakeholder coordination
- Managing technical consultants and contractors
- Supporting programme, cost and risk management activities
- Design management experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Aviation experience is not required.
- Project Manager – Back-of-House / Building Services
- We are seeking Project Managers with experience delivering operational or back-of-house projects such as:
- Lift replacements and upgrades
- Baggage handling systems
- MEP or building services infrastructure
- Plant and operational facility improvements
- This role would particularly suit candidates with a mechanical engineering background and experience within industrial buildings, operational environments or complex building services projects.
- Desirable experience includes:
- Coordination of multidisciplinary technical teams
- Building services or industrial project delivery
- Contractor and stakeholder management
- Design coordination or design management exposure
- Working within live or operational environments
- Project Manager – Commercial Fit Out / Architectural Projects
- We are also looking for Project Managers with an architectural, interiors or fit out background to support commercial projects involving multiple smaller-scale schemes.
- Suitable experience may include:
- Commercial fit out or refurbishment projects
- Interior architecture or workplace projects
- Managing multiple concurrent schemes
- Developing project briefs and defining client requirements
- Design team management and coordination
- Design management experience is highly desirable for this position.
Across all opportunities, successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
- Approximately 6-12 years’ post-graduate experience
- Exposure to project management and project delivery responsibilities
- Strong technical understanding within their discipline
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
- A collaborative and proactive approach to delivery
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team working across a varied and technically interesting portfolio, offering exposure to complex projects, strong client interaction and genuine scope for progression.
Benefits include:
- 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays and office closure between Christmas and New Year
- Flexible working arrangements
- Private medical insurance
- Health and wellbeing allowance
- Enhanced family-friendly policies
- Professional subscription reimbursement
- Season ticket loan and Ride2Work scheme
