Job Summary:
Due to increased demand and ambitious growth plans, we are seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors or Senior Cost Managers to join a dynamic consultancy team based in Central London. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in the Infrastructure sector (Water, Power, Utilities, Rail, or Aviation).
This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, strengthen your consultancy expertise, and broaden your sector experience.
We offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days per week in our Central London office and 2 days working from home, supporting workβlife balance and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management β
- Act as the primary Cost Manager, ensuring project budgets are effectively monitored and controlled.
- Provide accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and monitoring to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Identify, manage, and report cost variances, ensuring contract cash flow is accurate and timely.
- Contract Administration
- Administer various contracts, including NEC3 (Option C) and NEC4, in line with project objectives and governance policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
- Professional Accreditation: Ideally hold or be working towards membership in RICS, ACostE, or equivalent.
- Sector Expertise: Proven experience within the Infrastructure sector.
- Contract Knowledge: Strong experience with NEC3 (Option C) and NEC4 contracts.
