As part of our strategic growth, we are now appointing a Director of Cost Management to lead, shape and expand our QS offering across the region. This isn’t a delivery role it’s a growth & leadership position. You will play a pivotal part in building capability, developing new markets, driving revenue and strengthening our reputation across the built environment.

The Opportunity - As QS Director, you will:
- Lead our Cost Management service line, setting strategy and driving growth
- Bring a strong Midlands network and contact base to generate new workstreams
- Develop key client accounts and identify opportunities across existing portfolios
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality cost management services across multiple sectors
- Build, mentor and inspire a team of Cost Managers and Senior Cost Managers
- Provide commercial oversight, including P&L ownership and financial governance
- Deliver technical excellence across cost planning, estimating, procurement, tendering, valuations, final accounts and contract administration
- Represent the business with confidence, integrity and credibility at director level
- Contribute to bids, frameworks and major project wins

What We’re Looking For
- Commercial & Leadership Strength
- Proven Cost Management experience in the built environment (minimum 5+ years at senior level)
- Strong commercial acumen full P&L accountability experience
- Ability to build and maintain profitable client relationships
- A well-established local network you can leverage for immediate and long-term growth
- Confidence presenting to clients, boards and senior stakeholders
- Technical Excellence
- Fully competent in Cost Management methodology and best practice
- Broad understanding of procurement, tendering, contracts and commercial risk
- Knowledge of construction law, H&S legislation and CDM (advantageous)
- Strong report writing and communication skills

Qualifications
- Recognised technical qualifications in a construction-related discipline
- Ideally RICS or CIOB Qualified
- CSCS/Health & Safety certifications advantageous
